Virtual Reality is the use of computer technology to enter a simulated digital environment. We offer both single and multiplayer virtual reality arcade and escape room experiences. Instead of viewing a screen, you will be provided with VR goggles and controllers, to interact within a 3D world. From there you will be completely immersed in another dimensional world where fantasy meets reality. Depending upon the experience you choose you can interact with other members of your group to participate in escape rooms or other adventure games. Thanks to our partners, we offer experiences that cannot be imitated at home.

Most of our games and experiences are offered in multiple languages. Please contact us, and we will be happy to advise you on whether the experience you are interested in supports your preferred language. At least one member of your group should be able to speak basic German or English in order to translate the safety briefing and instructions to the rest of the group.

We recommend you wear light, comfortable clothing for ease of movements as well as minimal makeup as it can smear on the lenses and impact your experience. You will be required to remove your footwear so please bring socks for comfort. Hats cannot be worn during the experience. If you wear a religious head covering the headsets can be adjusted to fit although there is a limit to this so you may want to come in-store to try on the equipment before your booking time and date to avoid disappointment. We also have free lockers to keep all your valuables safe whilst participating.

We recommend that you wear contacts, as depending on the size and profile, glasses can be a little uncomfortable with the headset. Again, you may want to come in-store to try on the equipment before your booking time and date to avoid disappointment.

Virtual Reality dropped is based at Anton-Wallner-Strasse 7, 5700, Zell am See. Our rooms are located on the first floor and you must contact us in advance to gain access. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before your session begins.

Our sessions are booked to follow on from each other, so it is important you arrive on time. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to get a head start on the check-in, safety briefing, and suit-up process. We will start the safety briefing on time. Due to strict time constraints, if the Game Master has started the suit-up process by the time you arrive for your session, we cannot allow you to join. If you arrive late, you will not receive a credit or refund (just like a cinema or theatre, we provide a timed live performance).

Currently, we have 3 main types of experiences available: VR Arcade, VR Escape Room and Premium Free-Roaming. VR Arcade: Access any of the stand alone games within the library. Play solo or with up to 10 friends simultaneously. Gaming slots last 1 hour. VR Escape Room: Arrive with your group and work together as a team to solve all the puzzles to complete the mission. Choose 1 game, from themes including horror, futuristic and fantasy. You will have one hour to try and escape! Premium Free-Roaming: This next level experience is set in a separate Free-Roam zone where your team of up to 4 people can walk around freely and interact together within the same game. Choose from themes such as shooting, escape rooms or fun animated experiences. These experiences can be enjoyed for 60 minutes.

Our VR Arcade Sessions last 60 minutes. The VR Escape Room sessions are designed to last up to 60 minutes. Choose from 3 difficulty levels to challenge yourself even further. Our Premium Free-Roaming sessions last around 60 minutes.

As a newbie, VR Arcade is a perfect option for you. Whether playing solo or with friends, we have up to 50 different games for you to choose from. We have something for everybody, whatever your taste. Like problem solving and tackling puzzles in a team whilst trying to beat the clock? Then a VR Escape room is a perfect option. Excited by a deeper immersion and freedom? Then Free-Roaming is the answer. Walk around freely with your teammates fighting zombies, saving the planet or escaping from an underwater temple. We have everything you need for the best VR experience.

It’s a lot more fun to share! We have options for up to 10 players together in the same world! You can either play one of our multiplayer games in VR Arcade session or solve puzzles together in one of our VR escape rooms specifically for families and groups of customers of all ages. The free roam experiences are suitable for up to 4 people in the same physical room!

We have space for 12 players currently.

Some of our games are adrenaline fuelled missions into dark fantasy worlds where you need your wits and teamwork to survive. We understand families want to play together and players must be at least 8 years old to play, depending on the game. This is due to the size and weight of the headset and the fact that some younger children may find VR overwhelming. Some games have a Horror theme and higher age limit. An adult is not required to play but needs to be present, for children 12 and under. The minimum age for the different experiences are as follows: VR Arcade: 8+ Premium Free Roaming: 10+ VR Escape Rooms: 10+

Whilst we strongly advise reserving in advance, we are happy to accept spontaneous bookings. However, we are often fully booked during peak times, weekends and on poor weather days. You can make a request via our website, drop us an email or simply call us at short notice. Also check out our social media for special opening periods.

We recommend booking in advance to secure your slot. However, we understand circumstances outside of your control may mean you having to cancel. Therefore, cancellations made up to 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund.
